Snowdonia National Park Tour
Wales is home to many natural wonders. We'll set off to discover them at 8:30 am when we hop in our minibus at N Parade in Llandudno. Our first stop? The Great Orme headland, where we'll enjoy unparalleled views of Anglesey Island and the Irish Sea. The tour will then continue to the Conwy estuary, where we'll marvel at the impressive sight of its famous medieval castle.
From the beautiful town of Conwy we'll head to the incomparable Snowdonia National Park. Our tour of this protected natural space will begin with a visit to Penrhyn Quarry, which in the 19th century was the world's largest site for slate mining. Next we'll head to the breathtaking Nant Ffrancon valley. We'll also make a quick photo stop at the Llyn Ogwen and Llyn Mymbyr Lakes and admire the reflection of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
We'll continue exploring the National Park as we approach the Nant Gwynant and the Nant Gwynant valleys. You won't be able to resist a photo of this spectacular Welsh scenery! Next stop is Llanberis, where we'll visit the highlights of this picturesque town: Vivian Quarry, the National Slate Museum and the Dolbadarn Castle ruins. After learning all about the history of this fortress, you'll have an hour of free time to get some lunch.
From Llanberis we'll head to the magnificent Caernarfon Castle, where we'll unveil some fascinating 13th century legends related to the conquest of Wales by Edward I.
The trip will end when we make our way back to N Parade in Llandudno at around 5:30 pm.
