Schedule & Frequency

The Golden Tours Gray Line sightseeing bus of London runs at the following times:

• Blue Line: daily every 20 minutes in summer, and every 30 minutes in winter
• Red Line: daily every 20 minutes in summer, and every 60 minutes in winter
• Orange Line: during the summer season, this line runs daily every 30 minutes. In winter, it runs from Monday to Thursday every 60 minutes

How Does it Work?

Tickets for the London sightseeing bus are valid for 24, 48 or 72 consecutive hours from the moment they're used for the first time. In other words, if you activate your ticket on Monday at 3 pm, and you've chosen a 24-hour ticket, it will be valid until Tuesday at 3 pm. During this time, you can hop on and off the buses as often as you like, as well as use all the lines.

River Thames Cruise

Your ticket for the London sightseeing bus includes a 30-minute boat ride along the River Thames. You'll be able to board a cruise and enjoy the most beautiful panoramic views of the city, as well as its most iconic monuments. The cruise runs every day approximately every 30 minutes.

The boat departs from Westminster and ends at Tower Bridge pier.

London Walking Tour

Your ticket for the London sightseeing bus also includes different guided walking tours of London in English. These tours run daily, and you can choose one of the following options:

• Jack the Ripper Tour: starts at 3:30 pm at the Tower of London (stop 8), and lasts 1.5 hours
• Royal Locations Tour: starts at 10 am at The King’s Gallery and lasts 2 hours

Tastecard

When booking your ticket, you can opt for the Tastecard option. With this card, you'll get discounts at numerous restaurants, cinemas and cafés throughout the UK. This option will also give you the opportunity to take advantage of the 2 for 1 meal promotions and access to the city's Coffee Club, which allows you to buy coffees with significant discounts. This card is valid for 1 month from the moment it's activated with the tourist bus ticket.
