On our Sakhir Desert Private Day Trip, you'll see the famous Tree of Life, the iconic Formula 1 Circuit and Bahrain's first oil well - a must if you're staying in Manama!

Sakhir Desert Private Day Trip

At 2 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Manama. We'll set off for the Sakhir Desert and explore some of the places that have boosted Bahrain's economy.

First of all, we'll make our way up to the highest point in the whole country: Jabel Al Dukhan (Mountain of Smoke). We'll reach a height of 440 feet (134 metres) above sea level and look out at breathtaking views of the Sakhir Desert. Next, we'll visit the oil well that was discovered in 1932, making it the first in the country.

Our next stop will be the Tree of Life. Situated on a hill, this 400-year old tree is shrouded in mystery and secrets, which we'll discuss. Afterwards, we'll drive to the Al Areen nature reserve to see some wildllife.

The final stop on our day trip will be the Bahrain International Circuit. This spot is also known as the Sakhir Circuit and is a Formula 1 classic. We'll talk about what makes this particular racecourse unique, such as its design and tracks.

We'll then return to your hotel in Manama four hours after the start time.
