Farolesa: Mazatlán's Thrilling Zipline
Activity Details
If you're in Mazatlán, you can't miss one of the most exciting and fun attractions on the Mexican Pacific. We're talking about La Farolesa, the city's most famous zipline that connects the 1873 Observatory with the iconic Mazatlán Lighthouse.
To enjoy this unforgettable experience, we'll meet at Calzada Joel López Camarena. Once we're all together, we'll take a short walk to the top of the Mazatlán lighthouse. Did you know it's the tallest lighthouse on the continent? The views from the top will leave you speechless- perfect for a photo!
Next comes the long-awaited moment: riding the Farolesa. After getting all the equipment and listening to the safety instructions, it's time to unleash your adrenaline! This zip line stretches over 1,260 meters (4,134 ft) and reaches speeds of up to 60 km/h (37 mph), carrying you across the sea to the other side of Mazatlán.
The Farolesa ends at the historic 1873 Observatory, one of Mazatlán's most beautiful spots. There we'll wait for you with a commemorative kit, including a scarf and a Farolesa backpack.
After a total of about 2 hours, we'll conclude our activity at the entrance of the observatory.
