Don Diego River Tubing
Activity Details
After picking you up at your hotel, we'll climb on a minibus and head to the banks of the Don Diego River, a major water source in this area of Colombia.
Upon arrival, we'll set off on a 20-minute hike to become fully immersed in the river landscapes. As we talk about the variety of plants and wildlife native to the region of the Don Diego River, you'll have the chance to spot howler monkeys. Seeing these animals up close will be an unforgettable experience!
Before setting off down the river, we'll go into the Taironaka Museum to see the archaeological remains and stroll through the terraces. For 30 minutes, we'll delve into the region's indigenous culture and discover customs and traditions that are still around today.
We'll reach the riverbank, where our floating devices await to start our tubing activity along the Don Diego River. Exploring this Colombian river surrounded by tropical vegetation will be an unforgettable experience. As we float down the river, you'll observe different species of exotic birds that live in the area.
After enjoying a lovely day in the Colombian Caribbean, we'll return to your hotel 4 hours after departure.
