Mir & Nesvizh Private Tour

At the selected time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Minsk to start our excursion to Mir and Nesvizh, two cities that stand out for their remarkable cultural heritage.

First, we'll head to the Mir Palace, a 16th-century castle listed as a World Heritage Site. We'll admire its architecture, which mixes Gothic and Renaissance styles, as well as its interior. You'll feel like you have traveled back to the Middle Ages as you walk through its cellars and passages. We'll see the ballroom and the chapel of the Svyatopolk-Mirsky family, the owners of the palace until World War II when it fell into the hands of the Nazis.

After this visit, we'll move on to the village of Mir, where Jews, Poles, Belarusians, Tatars, and Sinhalese lived together for centuries. We'll discover the legacy left by these communities in their churches, synagogues, stores, and workshops. The next stop on the tour will be in Nesvizh, a town that belonged to the Radziwill dynasty between the 15th and 19th centuries. Did you know that this is where the first book was printed in Belarus?

Here we can see the Town Hall, the craftsmen's houses, and the Slutsk Gate, built in the 17th century, before heading to the highlight of the excursion: the Nesvizh Palace.

It was the Radziwill family who had an elegant palace complex built by Italian architect Giovanni Maria Bernardoni between the 16th and 17th centuries. Bernardoni was inspired by the classical period to create this beautiful palace that blends Renaissance and Baroque styles.

The next stop will be at the Farny Church, a 16th-century temple considered to be the first baroque building in Eastern Europe. Here, we'll learn more about the Radziwill family, the most powerful and influential family of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.

After the visit to the church, we'll return to Minsk and drop you off at your hotel eleven hours after pick-up.
