4-day Golden Ring Tour

Day 1: Moscow - Rostov "The Great" - Yaroslavl

We'll pick you up at the point in Moscow that you indicated upon booking and leave the Russian capital for Rostov "The Great".

Upon arriving at our destination, we'll immerse ourselves in the history of this elegant city by visiting the Kremlin of Rostov, an imposing bastion located on the banks of the Black Lake. Did you know that this monument has been declared a Cultural Heritage of the Russian Federation? You'll be fascinated by it!

After visiting the monumental complex of the Kremlin, we'll enjoy a traditional Russian lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our itinerary to Yaroslavl, where we'll go on a panoramic tour of the city. In the historic center of Yaroslavl, which has been declared a World Heritage Site, we'll visit a number of Orthodox churches, such as the Monastery of the Transfiguration and the Church of St. Nicholas, known for their stunning frescoes. After the tour, we'll conclude the experience with a visit to the Music and Time Museum, which houses an extensive collection of string, wind, and percussion instruments.

In the evening, we'll have dinner at the hotel in Yaroslavl and then rest until the next day.

Day 2: Yaroslavl - Kostroma - Suzdal

After breakfast at the hotel in Yaroslavl, we'll travel to the town of Kostroma, known for the Ipatiev Monastery's majestic architecture and the mysterious legend of the Romanovs.

We'll visit the monastery and then stop at the Museum of Wooden Architecture, where we'll discover the famous izbas, traditional wooden houses of the region, mills, and small churches. After lunch, we'll visit the residence of Snegurochka, aka Santa's granddaughter!

Our day will end with a traditional Russian dinner in a typical Suzdal house, after which we'll head to the hotel to rest.

Day 3: Suzdal - Vladimir - Moscow

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll begin a scenic tour of the historic center of Suzdal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Among its sights, we'll visit the Monastery of St. Euthymius, where we'll discover places such as its gloomy prison or the Hall of Bells, in which we'll attend a short concert.

We'll continue the journey to Vladimir. After having lunch in this beautiful city on the banks of the Klyazma River, we'll visit some of its most famous monumental gems, such as the Dormition Cathedral and the imposing Golden Gate, one of the few remaining city gates still standing.
