Nuremberg Sightseeing Train
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll depart from the central Hauptmarkt Square on board the Nuremberg sightseeing train, which will take us on a journey past the main monuments of this German city. All aboard!
Leaving the square behind, we'll pass by the Schöner Brunnen, meaning 'beautiful fountain', a 19-metre-high (62 ft) fountain from the 14th century. From there, we'll continue to the Maxbrücke, the oldest stone bridge in the city that was completed in 1457.
We'll continue the sightseeing train route passing other highlights of the city, such as the church of St. Lorenz, the Heilig-Geist-Spital hospital and Nuremberg Castle, one of the most important medieval fortifications in Germany.
During the tour, as well as enjoying some excellent panoramic views of all of the places mentioned, we'll have an audio guide in English that will uncover every last detail of each monument we see.
Finally, after 40 minutes, the route will end back at the starting point.
Children Under 2
Although children under 2 can join free of charge, they must sit on an adult's lap at all times, as they won't have their own seat on the train.
Wheelchair Users
If anyone in your group is a wheelchair user, please indicate so during the booking process so that we can have the train prepared, and you can travel without any issues. Additionally, you'll have to register your wheelchair at the office of the local team on the day of the activity.
