Odessa Food Tour
Odessa Food Tour
We'll meet at your chosen time next to the Odessa Theatre of Opera and Ballet, ready to embark on our walking tour through the different neighbourhoods of the Ukrainian city. Four different restaurants specialising in four different cuisines await us!
Our first stop will be a restaurant in the Jewish Quarter of Odessa. We'll hear all about the legacy of Hebrew cuisine in the Ukraine as we sample some traditional delicacies: a delicious serving of hummus, accompanied by vorschmack, a snack of salted meat or fish often served on toast.
Continuing on our tour of the culinary heritage of Odessa, we'll stop at a Bulgarian restaurant, where we'll taste several different specialities from this Eastern European country. Among them is banitsa, a filo pastry pie filled with egg, yoghurt and feta cheese - mouth watering!
Afterwards, we'll head to a centrally-located Ukrainian restaurant to try typical local dishes like borsch, or rich beetroot soup, and halushki, a type of thick noodles or dumplings.
We'll finish our tour with a sweet taste in our mouths, enjoying a typical Ukrainian dessert in a cafeteria near the City Garden, where our three hour food tasting tour will come to an end.
