Mountains & Beaches Jeep Tour

At 8:30 am on the morning of the tour, we'll meet in Piazza del Popolo to board an all-terrain vehicle and hit the road for the town of Sos Alinos. Along the way, we'll cross through meadows of a valley with an almost lunar appearance and enjoy the breeze of the refreshing ocean air.

The first stop on our tour will be the Domus de Janas, a large monument with an unusual mushroom shape. Also known as House of the Fairies, this peculiar structure houses a small sacred chamber dating back to the Neolithic period! During the tour, the guide will tell us all about the function and origin of this unique pre-Nuragic construction.

Afterward, we'll drive to the Istiotha mountain pass, the perfect vantage point to marvel at the mountains and the coastline of Baronia. Back on the road towards the beaches of Capo Comino, we'll make a stop on the hill where the old lighthouse stood. You won't believe the incredible views of the stunning coast of Berchida, the hills of Bidderosa and, further south, the cliffs of the Gulf of Orosei!

Then, we'll take a well-deserved break on the beach, amidst high dunes, thick juniper bushes and waters so crystal clear you'll think you're in the Caribbean. Who can resist the temptation of a refreshing dip in the sea?

At the end of the excursion, we'll take you back to Orosei, arriving at 1:30 pm.
