At the designated time, we'll meet at Praia do Pontal, where you'll receive a brief explanation of the paddling technique and basic safety rules to enjoy the experience to the fullest. Once we're ready, we'll begin paddling to the nearby Jabaquara Beach, a tranquil corner surrounded by tropical vegetation.
There, we'll begin our tour through the last mangrove forest remaining in the urban center of Paraty. As you sail among its canals, you'll admire this ecosystem that is home to a large diversity of fauna and flora. Keep your eyes peeled! With a bit of luck, you'll spot exotic birds, crabs, and, if nature allows, even a family of capybaras.
Our tour will continue to the Pombas Island, a small natural paradise in the Paraty Bay. The island is covered in bromelias, cactus, and a lush vegetation that serves as a refuge to different marine species and birds like loons. You'll be captivated by this natural sanctuary!
Finally, as the afternoon sun fades, we'll begin our journey back to Praia do Pontal, where we'll conclude this approximately 2-hour activity.
