The Hôtel des Invalides, commonly referred to as Les Invalides, has been

History

The building complex was initiated by Louis XIV in the late 17th century as a care facility for aged and disabled (invalide) soldiers. Today, the complex mainly consists of museums and monuments related to France's military history.

How to see Les Invalides

There are lots of ways to see Les Invalides with Civitatis. Simply grab a ticket to the Musée de l'Armée, which you can buy individually, or enjoy as part of the Go City Paris Pass. You can also see it as part of the Aura Invalides—a multimedia experience combining music, video and special effects underneath the famous Hôtel des Invalides dome!
