Activity Details
We'll meet at the designated time at the Viña Orgánica Cavas del Valle, a winery located just 10 minutes away by car from Pisco Elqui.
Once there, we'll go on a guided tour of the winery and its vineyards, where you'll observe what types of grapes are grown in this area. Plus, you'll discover how the wines of the Elqui Valley are crafted, one of the most important wine-producing areas in inland Chile. As you'll see, the area's special weather conditions create unique products.
We'll conclude our tour of the winery with a special tasting, where you'll taste 5 musts and 4 high-quality organic wines. You'll learn how to distinguish the wine varieties by their color, aroma, and notes, seeing the characteristics that make these wines one-of-a-kind.
After this tasting, we'll head to the outside of the winery to enjoy an exciting stargazing activity. Did you know the Elqui Valley has one of the clearest skies in the world? We'll make the most of the absence of light pollution with a telescope to look at the stars that shine in the sky.
Our 2-hour wine and astronomy activity will then come to an end by taking a picture under the starry sky of the Elqui Valley, which you can take home with you as a souvenir. We'll take one snapshot per couple!
