Enter the world of scuba diving and become an independent diver taking the PADI Open Water Diver course in Port d'Addaia, Menorca. Learn everything you need for your international certification!

PADI Open Water Diver Course

Before coming to the dive centre, you must complete the theoretical part of the scuba diving course online to prove that you have understood all the concepts necessary to become a certified diver. Once you've made your reservation, we'll send you the details to complete this part of the PADI Open Water Diver course.

Day 1: Confined water practice

On the first day of your PADI Open Water Diver course, we'll meet at the dive centre located in the commercial zone of Port d'Addaia. There, you'll be given your scuba equipment and taught how to use it. We'll then head to the pool to practice in confined water.

Throughout the morning, we'll learn how to handle different situations and practice some basic exercises such as emptying our masks, controlling our buoyancy and taking off and putting on the scuba equipment underwater.

Days 2 and 3: Open water practice

On the second and third day of the PADI course, we'll test your scuba diving skills and practice everything we learned the day before in the sea around northern Menorca.

We'll take the boat off the coast of Port d'Addaia to do two dives in the sea each day. On both days, we'll take the opportunity to evaluate your scuba skills while you enjoy exploring the incredible underwater life off the coast of Menorca.

Once you have successfully passed all the exercises, you will get your PADI Open Water Diver international diving certificate. Congratulations!
