Asinara Small Group Day Trip
Day Trip Details
We'll meet at the Piazza Dogana in Porto Torres to begin this day trip to Asinara Island, which we'll do in a reduced group of a maximum of 7 people. Ready to explore a paradise of turquoise waters and fine sand in the most exclusive way?
Once we're all together, we'll board a minibus on which we'll explore the beauty of this natural corner of northern Sardinia. During the tour, the guide will tell us about the history of the place and the interesting wildlife that lives on the island, such as the famous white donkeys. The island's most famous residents!
Asinara is also home to the Sea Turtle Rescue Centre, which provides veterinary care for injured or stranded sea turtles. Its main objective is to treat them, rehabilitate them and return them to the sea.
We'll also see horses, mouflons and sheep, as well as the various buildings that were part of the island's history. You can also capture the moment at the stops we'll make throughout our adventure. What do you think of the beautiful coves of Asinara?
Of course, during the summer months, you'll also have half an hour to take a dip in the crystal clear waters of one of the island's beaches. Don't forget to bring your swimsuit and towel! We'll also take a break along the route so that you can get yourself a bite to eat for lunch.
After a total of 10 hours, we'll say goodbye at the starting point in Porto Torres.
