At 9:30 am we'll meet in front of the Igreja Matriz de Proença-a-Velha, where we'll start this walking tour of one of the oldest settlements in Portugal.

Proença-a-Velha has a long history, with origins dating back to medieval times! Starting with the Igreja Matriz de Proença-a-Velha, aka the church of Nossa Senhora da Silva (Our Lady of Silva), we'll admire its baroque-style exterior and its emblematic bell tower.

We'll then continue to the Pelourinho, a granite column erected in the 16th century. Did you know that, during the day, it was a meeting point for locals and, at night, a meeting place for lovers?

The next stop will be the Belvedere, a panoramic viewpoint from which we'll enjoy beautiful views of the region. We'll then walk to the Museum of Sacred Art, where we'll admire various works of sacred art from the 14th century.

Finally, we'll return to the starting point, concluding the tour around 11:30 am.
