Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Progreso and begin this exciting day trip. Let's go!
After a 1-hour drive, we'll arrive at the San Crisanto Mangrove, whose flora and fauna will blow you away. Over the course of 1.5 hours, we'll explore these fascinating canals by canoe as we observe the region's many bird species and unique vegetation. Additionally, we'll make a stop so you can take a relaxing dip in a cenote.
After making the most of our natural surroundings, we'll head over to the Laguna Rosada, a lake famous for the stunning colour of its water. The contrast of its pink tones against the sky offers many postcard-pretty photo opportunities. Here, we'll go on a 1-hour guided tour of the Xtampú salt flats. Don't forget your camera!
Afterwards, we'll head over to a beach club in San Bruno, where you can relax in the sun and enjoy the sea. You'll have just over 4 hours of free time to eat, sunbathe on the beach, and swim in the crystal-clear waters. Additionally, you can also have fun kayaking and paddlesurfing.
Lastly, we'll return to Progreso, where this day trip will come to an end back at your hotel after a total of 9.5 hours.
