Chichén Itzá & Chichi Kan Cenote Day Trip
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your chosen meeting point or at your hotel in Cancun. Then, we'll head to a local restaurant to have a breakfast that includes coffee and bread and visit a handicraft store.
Next, we'll go to Chichén Itzá, where we'll visit the most important and renowned remains of the Maya civilization, revealing its incredible secrets through a guided visit of the archaeological site.
We'll reveal the secrets of the Kukulkán pyramid, named one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World in 2007, and which remains part in darkness, partly illuminated during the solstices, a testament to the deep astrological knowledge of the pre-Columbian civilizations.
Continuing our tour, we'll visit the Chichén Itzá temples, one of the most spectacular being the Temple of the Warriors, decorated with images of war and guarded by a forest of columns, custodians of Chac Mool, the god of rain.
After visiting Chichén Itzá, we'll go to the Chichi Kan cenote for a swim. We'll then have a buffet lunch at a restaurant in the area and enjoy a tequila tasting!
Then, we'll move on to the colonial city of Valladolid. On arrival, we'll take a sightseeing tour of the old town, including the church of San Servacio, the Municipal Palace, and the Municipal Market.
With the tour over, we'll head back to the meeting points in Cancún, arriving at around 7 pm.
