McBean Lagoon Hiking Tour
McBean Lagoon Hiking Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Agua Dulce and head to McBean Lagoon National Park. We'll arrive at Rocky Point, and begin our walk through this natural enclave which belongs to the beautiful Seaflower Biosphere Reserve.
We'll walk among the exotic island vegetation and get the best possible views of the so-called Sea of Seven Colors. Its waters have a full spectrum of colors from deep blue to translucent green. We'll also get to greet the native wildlife as we continue along the trail.
Once we reach the top of Iron Wood Hill, we'll get a complete panoramic view of the barrier reef protected along the coast of Providencia. It's the longest in Colombia, a coral paradise!
During our hike, we'll witness the amazing biodiversity in the national park. We'll cross freshwater streams, and walk among the impressive mangroves that surround McBean Lagoon.
After walking, we'll have surely built up an appetite, so we'll take a break to enjoy a delicious traditional-style lunch. After eating, we'll head to McBean Lagoon's paradise beach and you'll have free time to relax and enjoy a dip in the sea.
