Plomo + Bertrand Lakes Boat Trip
Plomo + Bertrand Lakes Boat Trip
We'll meet at the time of your choice at Los Calafates street and, from this point in Puerto Bertrand, we'll embark on a boat trip through one of the most spectacular areas of Chilean Patagonia.
First of all, we'll sail across Lake Plomo, which is surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Andes Mountains. Following the route through this Patagonian lake, we'll reach the Soler glacier: a colossal hanging snowdrift that you'll be able to photograph from the boat.
We'll then head towards the area of Lake Bertrand. During the crossing of this lake we'll also see the source of the Baker River, the largest river in Chile. This river also flows through one of the most beautiful areas of the Aysén region, whose landscapes will undoubtedly captivate you.
The area around Lake Bertrand and the Baker River is very rich in salmon. We'll also get to know what other native species live in this Andean natural space.
Finally, after a two-hour trip, we'll conclude the boat trip by returning to the starting point.
