Jerez de la Frontera Day Trip
Jerez de la Frontera Day Trip
We'll set off from Cadiz at the indicated time and head north until we reach Jerez de la Frontera. When we arrive, around half an hour later, we'll set off on a tour of the modern area of the city. Then we'll make our way to the historic centre to visit some of its most iconic monuments, admiring the city's characteristic orange trees and fountains.
We'll visit the Plaza del Arenal, a beautiful square buzzing with locals and tourists. Nearby, we'll admire the impressive architecture of the Alcazar of Jerez, a fortress by the Almohad rulers of southern Spain. Then we'll head to the Plaza Encarnación to marvel at the mix of Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassical styles of the Cathedral.
At midday, we'll visit the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art to watch "How the Andalusian Horses Dance". This internationally famous show combines an elegant equestrian ballet with Spanish music and typical 18th-century costumes.
After enjoying the equestrian show, you'll have some free time in the centre of Jerez to get lunch. Finally, after between 7 and 7.5 hours, we'll bring the tour to an end back at the starting point.
