Our tour guide Baldwin was amazing. He gave a wealth of knowledge about Iceland during our entire ride to each location. All the lush history and explanation of technology that the Icelandic people have implemented in their society and way of life gave us a large sense of awe and appreciation.

No fue la actividad contratada inicialmente, recibida modificación 12 horas antes por mail. Cambio de recorrido y, sobre todo, de duración. Una excursión de 16 horas es demasiado extensa, cuando estaba previsto un máximo de 10 horas (en info oficial), salir a las 6.50 h del hotel y regresar a las 23 horas es una paliza física. No es de recibo cambiar las condiciones previstas con tan poca antelación. Muy mala experiencia, lo tendremos en cuenta para próximas experiencias. 1 de 10.

The activity was not as initially booked, and a change was received via email just 12 hours prior. The route and, most importantly, the duration were changed. A 16-hour excursion is far too long when the official information indicated a maximum of 10 hours. Leaving the hotel at 6:50 a.m. and returning at 11:00 p.m. is physically exhausting. Todo estuvo muy bien, solo en la descripción del tour dice que se da un paseo en la playa negra de reynisfjara y en vik y realmente la parada fue solo para comprar de comer y seguir no pudimos pasear en la playa ni subir a la iglesia de vik.

La excursión está bien pero ponen más tiempo para tomar un café que para ver los puntos de interés. Ejemplo, paramos en Vik para tomar un café 40 min y solo 20 minutos para ver la última cascada que era impresionante y se tardaba en dar la vuelta por detrás. Por otro lado, el precio es demasiado alto para no incluir el paseo en bote por los icebergs, que nos cobraron otros 40€.

The tour is good but they give you more time to have a coffee than to see the points of interest. La descripción no es exacta, solo realiza 3 paradas: dos cascadas y el glaciar Jökulsárlón para finalizar. Las paradas con muy poco tiempo para visitar los lugares, salvo la parada del glaciar que dan más tiempo, el resto a penas unos 12 minutos. Es algo estresante. Hay una parada para comer en Vik donde está la playa de arena negra, pero la guía te dice que es una parada para comer de 45 minutos y a penas te da tiempo a comer y ver la playa demasiado rápido. Paisajes espectaculares.

A pesar de que lo que se visitó fue muy bonito y espectacular, el título de la actividad e incluso parte de la descripción resulta engañosa, pues lo más cerca que se estuvo de un glaciar fue a 5km, yo pensaba tanto por la descripción y título como por el precio de la actividad, que nos dejarían a los pies de algún glaciar o al menos poder verlo de cerca. Por lo demás, guía y conductor estupendos

En general bien. Ves paisajes salvajes y sorprendentes.. Las cascadas impresionantes, aunque había mucho hielo que dificultaba caminar bien. Son Muchas horas de autobús, y al final no hemos podido ver los glaciares por las condiciones de la carretera. La última parada antes de volver demasiado larga, ya que era una estación de servicio para comer, al final del día.

El Tour incluye todo lo descrito. Los paisajes por los que discurre la carretera que lleva a las distintas paradas son espectaculares. Por poner alguna pega, la parada en la cascada Seljalandsofss la hicimos a la vuelta,ya de noche.A mi modo de ver, hubiera sido preferible hacer la parada en el viaje de ida, de día,y haber tenido la posibilidad de hacer el recorrido y acceder detrás.Elnlago Jokursalon y Diamond Beach impresionantes. Tras tener que posponerla por el mal tiempo, no pudimos realizarla entera puesto que nos sorprendió una gran nevada por lo que que cerraron las carreteras, aunque finalmente pudimos regresar al hotel. Excursión imprescindible. Como en casi todas las excursiones te recomiendo llevar comida y bebida en una mochila para no perder tiempo y disfrutarlo viendo cosas además de ahorrar dinerillo. La hicimos en Febrero y fue precioso. Lleva ropa impermeable para las cascadas ya que de lo contrario te mojarás bastante si te acercas a ellas o si quieres pasar por detrás del agua (si es verano no pasa nada, ya te secarás).
