Canyoning in Ribeira da Salga

Between 8:30 and 8:50 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel to start this canyoning adventure in São Miguel. We'll head to one of the greenest and lushest parts of the island, immersing ourselves in the nature of the Azores!

We'll canyoneer through Ribeira da Salga, a beautiful forest area with rivers, cliffs, and waterfalls. We'll trek through steep trails, rappel up to 52.5 ft (16 meters) down spectacular waterfalls, and even jump from 29.5-ft-high (9 meters) cliffs if you'd like. It'll be an experience you'll never forget!

The trail will end with an uphill climb that will take us back to the starting point. Once there, we'll recharge our batteries with a well-deserved picnic lunch in a peaceful local park.

Afterwards, we'll take you back to your hotel, arriving around 1:30 pm.
