Sete Cidades Bike Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel at 8:50 am to start this bike tour of Sete Cidades and the beautiful landscapes that surround this municipality on the island of São Miguel.

After an introduction of about 15 minutes, we'll start cycling to the bridge that divides the Azul and Verde lakes. At this point, we'll enjoy the beautiful scenery of these two lakes, and we'll pass by the peaceful Baía do Silencio.

We'll continue along dirt roads and ascending paths until we reach the viewpoints of Lagoa do Santiago and Cerrado das Freiras. All the uphill cycling will be worth it once we reach the highest point and your efforts will be rewarded with magnificent views!

Then, we'll keep pedalling and come to the Vista do Rei viewpoint. Afterwards, our adventure on two wheels will take us through the Cumeeira Pequena, a rougher gravel road than the previous ones.

After leaving behind the last viewpoint, Lomba do Vasco, we'll head towards the heart of Sete Cidades, passing by the São Nicolau​ Church.

At the end of the tour, we'll pick you up to take you back to your hotel. Arrival is scheduled for 1 pm.
