Sigulda Day Trip
Sigulda Day Trip
At the designated time, we'll meet at Grēcinieku iela, number 18, and we'll head to Sigulda, the land of castles, caves, and winter sports. Get ready for a Preparaos para un día de lo más completo!
First of all, we'll make our way to Keizarskats viewpoint to admire the area's landscape. Then, we'll head to Sigulda bobsleigh track, to learn about a sport you have probably seen in the Winter Olympics. We'll find out all of the sport's secrets and hear some fun facts about this exciting winter activity.
After this unforgettable winter sports experience, we'll continue our visit to Sigulda. Another attraction of this Latvian town is its fairytale fortresses. We'll see Sigulda Castle. As well as delving into their history, we'll enjoy the wonderful views they offer of the Gauja River.
Next, we'll make our way to Gutman's Cave, one of the country's most famous caves. Let's find out why! Our route will then continue to the medieval Castle of Turaida, whose history will leave you speechless. Lastly, we'll visit Dainu Hill and check out its 25 different sculptures dedicated to Latvian folksongs!
Finally, we'll finish our day trip after a total of 5 hours at the meeting point.
