Everything was very well organized, but the town itself isn't worth the trip; it's just a street and not even as pretty as the photos show. The boat ride was fantastic.

Discover the charm of the Búzios peninsula. Stroll through its picturesque cobblestone streets and unwind in the crystal-clear waters of its stunning beaches.

Day Trip Details

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Rio de Janeiro at the scheduled time and set off for Búzios. After a three-hour drive, we’ll arrive at this beautiful coastal town.

Once there, we’ll board a schooner to explore Búzios Bay, taking in the breathtaking scenery and visiting some of the area’s islands. Along the way, we’ll make stops for a swim at João Fernandes Beach, Ilha Feia, and Praia da Tartaruga, some of the most beautiful beaches in the region.

After the boat ride, we’ll take a walk along Rua das Pedras, Búzios’ most famous street, where you can admire the town’s charming architecture. Then we’ll stop at a local restaurant for a buffet lunch with about an hour and a half to enjoy.

With lunch done, you’ll have some free time to soak up the atmosphere of Búzios. Although it’s now a popular tourist destination, it was once a quiet fishing village in the 1960s. Fun fact: Brigitte Bardot came here to escape the paparazzi! Fans can visit her statue by the sea.

After a full day of exploring, we’ll head back to Rio de Janeiro, arriving around 14 hours after departure.
