Tour Options

When making your reservation, you can choose between two tour options. Both include a Spanish-speaking guide. Here are the details of each:

Cayo Acuario (5.5 hours)

At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at the dock of the Casa de la Cultura in San Andrés. There, we’ll board a boat and sail south along the bay to explore the area’s mangroves. Keep your eyes peeled! This place is home to various species of iguanas and lizards, as well as a wide variety of endemic birds.

Next, we’ll leave the mangroves behind and set course for Cayo Acuario. Also known as Rose Cay or simply “the Aquarium,” it’s one of the most beautiful cays in San Andrés. Do you know why it has this curious name? It’s due to the great variety and abundance of fish swimming in these waters.

You’ll have approximately 2 hours of free time to enjoy the Cayo Acuario at your own pace or sunbathe on the white sand of this small cay. If you’d like, you can also visit Cayo Haynes, a tiny islet with kiosks selling local food for lunch.

After a fantastic day enjoying the crystal-clear waters of San Andrés, we’ll take you back to the pier, where we’ll arrive 5.5 hours after the initial pickup.

Cayo Acuario & Johnny (6 hours)

Would you like to discover more of San Andrés’s idyllic cays? If so, we’ll meet at the scheduled time at the Marina Toninos dock. Once we’re ready, we’ll set sail for Cayo Haynes, where you’ll have 1.5 hours of free time. Here, if you’d like, you can also take a short trip over to Cayo Acuario. Marvel at its crystal-clear waters and multicolored fish!

Afterward, we’ll sail north for 30 minutes in search of the famous Johnny Cay. Welcome to one of San Andrés’ most impressive marine reserves! As soon as we arrive, we’ll spend 2.5 hours in this idyllic setting, exploring its wide, shallow-water beach and coral trails, and observing iguanas in their natural habitat. You’ll feel like you’re in paradise!

When you get hungry, we’ll give you some free time to have lunch at one of the island’s beach bars on your own. Of course, you’ll also have time to rest, sunbathe, and relax on the beach.

Finally, we’ll head back to the departure dock, where we’ll say goodbye to an unforgettable Caribbean experience.
