Bodegas Lecea Winery Tour
Visiting the Bodegas Lecea winery will take you on a journey back to the origins of wine, as you see its 16th-century wine cellars. You’ll explore more than 980 feet (300 metres) of maze-like underground tunnels and you’ll learn about the complete wine-making process, which remains today as it did hundreds of years ago.
An expert guide will accompany you throughout your visit, explaining and demonstrating how one of the winery’s most special wines is made: Corazón de Lago. You’ll see how the traditional grape treading techniques are still used; you’re sure to be impressed!
The Bodegas Lecea winery is the only winery in the region with four working underground wine cellars. As you visit, you’ll be able to see first-hand why the it has been awarded with prizes such as the Best Wine Tourism Experience in Spain in 2016 and Best of Wine Tourism in the architecture category, thanks to its 16th-century wines.
To end on a high, you’ll then enjoy a wine tasting where you’ll get to try three of the wineries fantastic wines: Corazón de Lago, Lecea Tinto Reserva and Lecea Blanco Semidulce. Cheers!
Please note that the wine tasting is only available for adults aged 18 years and over.
