Lush jungle, wildlife and natural pools: explore the Bosque Carite Rainforest on this tour from San Juan. Plus enjoy a delicious lunch and visit a coffee plantation - unmissable!
Bosque Carite Rainforest Tour
At 10 am on the morning of your jungle adventure, you'll be picked up from your accommodation and set off towards the Bosque Carite, a rainforest area located around an hour from San Juan in the foothills of Puerto Rico's Cordillera Central mountain range.
Having arrived at Bosque Carite, you'll delve into the Puerto Rican jungle to discover its unique flora and fauna. Walking along a trail through the rainforest for around 20 minutes, you'll reach the Blue Hole, a natural pool named for its sparkling azure waters. Fancy a swim? You'll have free time here to take a refreshing dip in the crystal clear pool and relax in the heart of the jungle.
Waving farewell to the Bosque Carite, you'll head back on the road to the Rancho Original, one of the area's most emblematic restaurants. Here, you'll have the opportunity to indulge in a traditional lunch of local specialities (not included).
For the finishing touch on your rainforest tour, you'll visit a coffee plantation. Guided by the expert coffee-growers, you'll discover how one of the country's most typical products is grown and produced.
Finally, you'll make the return journey to San Juan, where you'll be dropped back off at your hotel.
