Tour Details

Day 1

We'll pick you up at your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama. Then, we'll leave Chile behind and head to the border with Bolivia. Get ready to see some of the country's most beautiful landscapes!

We'll hop on an off-roading vehicle to venture into the Bolivian highlands, crossing borders to admire the mesmerizing Laguna Verde and Laguna Blanca, two salt lakes nestled in the Eduardo Avaroa National Park. Fun fact: They sit at a whopping 4,300 meters (14,107 feet) above sea level!

Next up, we'll delve into the Salvador Dalí Desert, a landscape painted with hues that will remind you of legendary Spanish artist's masterpieces. Then, we'll journey to the hot springs of Polques, one of the few places in the world where you can enjoy a hot bath while admiring flamingos. Then, we'll enjoy a well-deserved lunch and head in search of the Morning Sun Geyser, an ideal spot to explore the volcanic wonders of this natural park.

Plus, we'll pass through Laguna Colorada before visiting the community of Quetena Chico, where we'll spend our first night. Rest up!

Day 2

After a filling breakfast and with newfound energy, we'll start the second day traveling to see the pre-Inca cave paintings of the Quechua culture!

Later, we'll marvel at the Valley of Rocks, a place where you can let your imagination fly while admiring the rock formations throughout the park. We'll also visit the Laguna Catal and its creek. This natural site is filled with typical flora and fauna from the Bolivian highlands.

Finally, we'll end the day at a curious salt hotel, where we'll rest for the next day.

Day 3

We'll wake up bright and early to head to the famous Uyuni Salt Flat. First, we'll hike around Incahuasi Island to admire its enormous cacti, the Pilas de Sal, the Ojos de Sal, and the first hotel made entirely of salt.

We'll see the Uyuni Salt Flat, and after breakfast, we'll head to the popular salt hotel, the Plaza de las Banderas, and the Ojos de Sal. We'll also stop at the best places to take pictures of this unique place.

Afterward, we'll visit the indigenous community of Colchani, where we'll see how its population works with iodized salt following centuries-old techniques. To complete the day, we'll visit the Train Cemetery, a place where locomotives have accumulated over the past centuries, creating an eerie yet beautiful landscape.

Finally, we'll take you to Quetena Chico, where a well-deserved rest in the hotel we stayed at on our first day awaits.

Day 4

We'll leave the Quetena Chico community early in the morning and travel to San Pedro de Atacama, where we'll finish the tour at your hotel at approximately 12 pm.
