Tour Options

When booking, you can choose between the following options. All include transport by boat, an English-speaking guide and rental of snorkelling equipment. You can see the details of each option below.

Hol Chan & Shark Ray Alley Snorkelling (5 Hours)

Join us to explore one of the largest coral reefs in the world! Once on the boat, we'll head to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve. We'll anchor while we put on our snorkelling equipment and, once we're ready, we'll jump into the water. These waters are home to extensive marine flora and fauna. We'll have the privilege of swimming alongside turtles, parrotfish, nurse sharks and octopuses in a lush underwater garden—an explosion of colours and textures!

Next, we'll return to the boat and set sail in search of Shark Ray Alley. This wonderful underwater enclave of crystal clear waters is home to dozens of sharks and stingrays. Here, we'll dive back into the sea to swim with these playful fish.

Schedule: this option starts at 8:30 am and returns at 1:30 pm

Mexico Rocks & Tres Cocos Snorkelling (3.5 Hours)

We'll set sail towards the north of Ambergris Caye in search of Mexico Rocks and Tres Cocos, a coral zone with very shallow waters. Because of this, you're guaranteed unbeatable views of the underwater garden of San Pedro. You'll be able to admire the textures of the plants and the little fish that swim among them.

Schedule: this option starts at 1 pm and returns at 4:30 pm

San Pedro Night Snorkelling (3 Hours)

If you're looking for an even more special activity, this option is ideal for you. In this experience, we'll sail away from the coast of San Pedro until we reach a reef. With snorkelling equipment and torches on, we'll dive into the water to observe the underwater world before our eyes. You'll witness the nocturnal activity of stingrays, sea turtles, squid, octopuses, lobsters and a variety of exotic sea creatures more active at sunset. An unforgettable experience!

Schedule: this option starts at 4:30 pm and returns at 7:30 pm, or at 5:30 pm and returns at 8:30 pm

Meeting Points

This tour includes pickup from the pier closest to your hotel in San Pedro. If there isn't one close to your hotel, you'll have to make your own way to the meeting point at Amigos del Mar Dive Club.

Please note that if you have chosen to snorkel at Mexico Rocks and Tres Cocos, the meeting point will be at the Ambergris Divers dive club.
