Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll begin our guided tour of Santa Pola next to the Esteban González Boat, one of the headquarters of the Sea Museum of this beautiful town in Alicante.

We'll first visit this old fishing vessel, located next to the port of Santa Pola. From its docks, we'll see the boats that sail to the nearby island of Tabarca set sail. We'll also talk about the Parque Natural de las Salinas, a highly biodiverse ecosystem located on the outskirts of the town.

After visiting the Esteban González boat, located in the Plaza de la Constitución, we'll go to the Santa Pola Aquarium, another of the headquarters of the Museum of the Sea. We'll contemplate its different ponds to discover some of the most outstanding Mediterranean species of this area of the coast of Alicante.

Next, we'll leave the Aquarium behind and take a stroll to the Plaza de la Glorieta. There, we'll visit the new site of the Sea Museum. This is the Castle-Fortress of Santa Pola, a 16th-century bastion that is one of the main monumental jewels of the municipality.

We'll visit the interior of this bastion, which also houses the chapel of the Virgen de Loreto, and after between 2 and 2.5 hours, we'll conclude our guided tour at the Central Market of Santa Pola.
