Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Santo Amaro and head over to the starting point of this adventure. After receiving our helmets and a short chat about the safety rules and how to drive the vehicles, the most fun part will begin. Let's start our engines!
During about 8.5 hours, we'll drive our quads through the changing landscapes that combine mangroves, the Brazilian Cerrado, and the impressive dunes and lagoons of the Pequenos Lençóis. As this is a private tour, you'll drive at your own pace, always following the guide who will be leading in their own vehicle.
Our destination to reach will be the Praia do Caburé, a paradisiac site where the river meets the sea. We'll explore stretches of beach and feel the sea breeze and the power of our quads on the sand. It'll be an adrenaline-fueled route of about 49 mi (80 km)!
On the way back, we'll make a very special stop in the municipality of Vassouras. Here, not only will you be able to stretch your legs and enjoy the environment, but you'll also discover up close this corner famous for its dunes and friendly local inhabitants: the capuchin monkeys.
After a day of exploring the wildest spots in the region, we'll finish our quad bike tour by returning to your hotel in Santo Amaro 8.5 hours later.
Activity Requirements
To drive the quads, you must have a valid type B driving license or equivalent, which allows driving passenger cars. Children aged 8 to 17 years old must always be accompanied by an adult.
Hotel Pickup
This tour includes pickup from hotels in the center of Santo Amaro do Maranhão, except for the following hotels, where no pickup will be made: Lençóis Zaya, Pacas Suites and Chalets, Oiá Casa Lençóis, and Olho d'Água dos Pereira hotels.
