At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to Mesquita Brasil, the oldest mosque in the country, where we'll discover the history of its foundation and its role in the Muslim community in São Paulo.
Designed by the same architect who conceived the city's imposing Orthodox Cathedral, Paulo Camasmie, this mosque stands out as a symbol of integration and diversity. During the guided tour, we'll talk about how Islam came to Brazil and how it has remained one of the most prominent religions among its citizens.
Once inside, you'll be amazed by the details of its design. Its structure follows the traditional patterns of Muslim temples: precise geometric lines, intricate arabesques and a harmonious combination of forms that evoke spirituality and serenity.
