Tenondé Porã Indigenous Territory Private Visit
Tenondé Porã Indigenous Territory Private Visit
At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Sao Paulo and head southbound to the Indigenous territory of Tenondé Porã.
After 1 hour 30 minutes on the road, we'll come to an area where around 1,200 members of the Guaraní Indigenous community reside. Here, ancestral traditions and the Guaraní language have been maintained over the years.
We'll visit the Indigenous territory of Tenondé Porã and learn all about the residents' daily lives. First of all, we'll see their crops and spot fruit trees such as bananas, guavas and mangoes, as well as maize and cassava.
Next, we'll be accompanied by the members of the community as we carry out some activities. You'll be able to walk through the area and discover the local flora and fauna, watch children singing songs and practising dances, and even see some arts and crafts made by the locals.
Anyone peckish? We'll have a delicious Guaraní lunch prepared by the locals. After lunch, you'll have some free time to swim in the lake.
It'll then be time to say our goodbyes and return to Sao Paulo. You'll be dropped off back at your hotel at around 6 pm.
Pickup
A pickup service is included from accommodations located within a radius of 3 miles (5 kilometres) of the Hotel Unique. If your hotel is located outside this area, you'll need to make your own way to the Hotel Unique.
