The activity was great. The first day we went to Cat Cat, and the guide told us the whole story. We spent the morning there and then were dropped off at the hotel, which had everything we needed. The next day was incredible. We passed through different villages in Sapa while our guide, Vu, told us all about it. It was beautiful, everything we saw and how we learned about the culture. We loved the bungalow where we stayed. They were incredibly attentive. In short, highly recommended. It's totally worth it.
The best thing was the guide Khu. Very nice, he explained a lot of things about the area and culture, and guided us through everything. The stay was very good, we had a private bungalow, a good bed, and a bathroom that was just right. We went at the end of December, which is the dry season. Good thing because it didn't rain and there were no mosquitoes. The weather was a bit cold, so if you don't like the heat it's great. The bad thing is that there is no rice and the views are poor. The roads are muddy, so you have to wear boots. Transport from Hanoi was very good, it was by bus with beds.
