At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Sharjah to explore the third-largest city in the United Arab Emirates. Ready to discover its fascinating history and architecture? Let's go!

Our first stop is the Museum of Islamic Civilization, a true treasure trove of knowledge with over 5,000 objects that tell the story of this culture through the ages. We'll discover astronomical instruments, ancient manuscripts, and priceless works of religious art. Did you know that the main dome features the zodiac signs as interpreted by Arab astronomers?

From there, we'll continue to Cultural Square, also known as the Quran Roundabout, one of the most iconic urban landmarks in the city. At its center stands an oversized Quran, a symbol of the emirate's devotion and cultural heritage. We'll then make our way to Sharjah Fort Al Hisn, a restored stronghold that once served as the residence of the ruling Al Qasimi family. Within its walls of coral and Persian Gulf stone, we'll uncover the history of defence and diplomacy in 19th-century Sharjah.

The atmosphere shifts completely when we reach Souk Al Arsah, the oldest market in the UAE. We'll wander through its corridors filled with the scent of spices and incense, getting a taste of Sharjah at its most traditional and authentic before heading to the Corniche. Get your cameras ready here, the silhouette of minarets and historic towers meets the Persian Gulf!

Next up is the Archaeological Museum, where we'll learn about the civilisations that called these lands home thousands of years ago, including the discoveries from the Stone Age cemetery of Al-Buhais 18.

We'll carry on through the lively atmosphere of Khalid Port, the commercial heart of the city. Once a hub for fishermen and pearl traders, it's since transformed into a modern landmark where traditional wooden dhows share the waters with luxury yachts and cargo vessels.

We'll also drive past King Faisal Mosque, one of the largest in the country. Its striking white facade, crowned by domes and minarets, dominates the city skyline. Did you know it can hold over 15,000 worshippers at prayer time? We'll admire it from the vehicle and take in its remarkable balance of simplicity and grandeur.

Our last stop is the Sharjah Central Market, also known as the Blue Souq, where two pavilions topped with Persian tile-decorated blue domes await. Inside, the displays are filled with hand-woven carpets, gold, silver, oriental perfumes, and antiques.

We'll then head back to your hotel, wrapping up the tour around 5 hours after pickup.
