Sochi to Krasnodar 7-Day Tour Package

Day 1: Sochi

You'll be picked up upon arrival at Sochi airport and transferred to the hotel for check-in. We'll then go on a brief tour of Sochi, a city on the Black Sea known for hosting the Winter Olympics in 2014.

Day 2: Sochi

After breakfast, we'll leave the hotel and head to Sochi's ski resorts, some of which were used during the Winter Olympics. We'll ascend by cable car to an altitude of 2,320 meters (7,611 feet), where we'll marvel at the beautiful scenery of the Caucasus Mountains.

Afterward, we'll enter the Caucasus Nature Reserve to check out the wild fauna and flora of this region of Russia. We'll take a break for lunch on your own, and then we'll go to the Sochi Skypark adventure park, home to the longest suspension bridge in the world - it measures 439 meters (1,440 feet) long! At around 3 pm, we'll return to Sochi and you'll have the rest of the day to spend at your leisure.

Day 3: Sochi - Dagomys - Gelendzhik

On the third day, we'll leave Sochi behind and head to the rural area of southern Russia where the typical Russian tea is grown. We'll stop in the town of Dagomys, where we'll attend a Russian tea ceremony with homemade cakes accompanied by a folkloric dance show - a most traditional experience!

In the afternoon, we'll head to Gelendzhik, a tourist city where we'll visit its most representative places, like the monument to the Victorious Heroes of the Great Patriotic War, the monument to the bicentennial of Aleksandr Sergeyevich Pushkin and Pervomaiskaya Street.

We'll spend the night at a hotel in Gelendzhik.

Day 4: Gelendzhik - Novorossiysk - Gelendzhik

After a comforting breakfast, we'll be ready to discover our next destination, Novorossiysk, also called Hero City. It's home to one of the main Black Sea ports. We'll visit its main attractions, such as the Malaya Zemlya memorial, which represents the Soviet force during World War II, as well as the Mikhail Kutuzov Cruiser, which was part of Stalin's maritime fleet.

After the tour of Novorossiysk, we'll head to the Abrau-Durso winery, which specializes in champagne. This place has a rich history, as it was founded by Emperor Alexander II at the end of the 19th century. After the visit, we'll return to the hotel in Gelendzhik to rest.

Day 5: Gelendzhik - Krasnodar

On the fifth day, we leave picturesque Gelendzhik behind for Krasnodar, the economic and cultural center of the North Caucasus. From here we'll go to the small town of Ataman to learn about the history of the Cossacks, a community known for its military past. We'll have the opportunity to attend a Cossack horseback riding presentation, a re-enactment of a Cossack wedding, as well as a folkloric dance show. A complete cultural experience!

After the activities, we'll make our way to the Fanagoria winery, one of the largest in Russia, where we'll learn about the winemaking process and sample the wines before returning to Krasnodar.

Day 6: Krasnodar

The last day will be spent discovering Krasnodar from a cultural point of view. We'll stroll along Krasnaya Street and see St. Catherine's Cathedral, the Monument to Catherine the Great, the Military Cathedral of Alexander Nevsky, and the Triumphal Arch.

In the afternoon, you'll have free time to continue exploring the city or visit the kiosks for a nice souvenir of your stay in Krasnodar. We recommend ending the day with the wonderful nightime view of the Kuban River - a magical ending to the week!

Day 7: Krasnodar

After breakfast, we'll drive you to Krasnodar airport in time for your return flight.
