St Petersburg Private Tour Itinerary

Set off on a private walking tour of St Petersburg and discover the capital of imperial Russia, accompanied by an exclusive guide for you, your family or friends for three or six hours, it’s up to you!

We recommend you begin your tour from Palace Square, so you can easily get to the city’s top landmarks, including the Winter Palace and the other Hermitage buildings. As well as the Summer Garden, the Fields of Mars, the Church of the Savior on Blood, Saint Isaac’s Cathedral and Kazan Cathedral and the Bronze Horseman, among many others.

You can also go for a walk along Nevsky Prospekt, the city’s main thoroughfare and discover its landmarks or head to Hare Island (Zayachy). If you're a football fan, your guide can take you to Petrovsky Stadium, home of the FC Zenit, or you can choose to visit any other part of the city accompanied by your guide. You decide the itinerary of your private walking tour!

You can also book a tour of the Hermitage Museum or the Vasilievsky island and Hare island. You choose!

Important information

  • All our private tours are walking tours.
  • The price of this tour does not include the entrance tickets to the museums and monuments you wish to visit. 
  • You can only purchase the entrance tickets to St Isaac Cathedral (closed on Wednesday), the Church of the Savior on Blood (closed on Wednesday) and St Paul and St Peter's Church  on the day of the tour.
  • If you would like to do a guided tour of the Hermitage or another museum, please write it in the comments section, so our guide can book the tickets for you. You cannot do a guided tour of these monuments by purchasing the tickets online or at the ticket office.
