We’ll meet at number 2 Via Eritrea, where you’ll board a boat and set off on a private cruise around Syracuse. Ready to sail around Ortigia Island? Then let’s get going.
We’ll begin the boat trip sailing along the sea caves. Here, we’ll make our first refreshing stop so you can take a swim and snorkel in crystal-clear waters. We’ll then continue the journey along the Plemmirio area, admiring the imposing Castello Maniace from the sea, a fortress dating back to the 13th century.
After that, we’ll head toward Porto Grande and sail on to the famous Fountain of Arethusa. At this unique spot, where the waters of an underground river mix with the sea, you’ll enjoy a second stop to swim and feel the noticeable change in water temperature.
If you prefer, the captain can alternatively head to the Minareto area, a place of outstanding natural beauty, where you can enjoy another swim.
To top it all off, during the cruise you’ll be offered an apéritif including seasonal fruit, prosecco, juice, water, and iced tea. Cheers to that!
Once our time on board comes to an end, the tour finishes back at the original departure point.
