Tallinn Bay Boat Ride
Activity Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet in the Old City Harbour to board a boat to sail across the bay of Tallinn. Throughout the crossing, you'll be able to move freely around the boat and stand on the deck, perfect for enjoying the fresh air and taking panoramic pictures of the city. All aboard!
As the boat moves away from the harbour, you'll get a more complete picture of Tallinn's Old Town. From the boat, you can admire the majesty of its towers, the bustling waterfront life and the dozens of boats and sailing ships moored in the harbour—a fascinating contrast between the modern and the traditional!
We'll continue our trip by approaching the Noblessner maritime quarter, a former industrial area converted into one of Tallinn's most modern districts. From the boat, we'll be able to admire its quays, art galleries and Nordic-style cafés. Did you know that this area was once a submarine shipyard for the Russian Empire?
The route will also take you to the harbour and Pirita beach, one of the locals' favourite areas for seaside strolling and water sports. From the boat, you'll be able to see the coastal parks that surround this area and, weather permitting, you'll be able to see the nearby islands and other landmarks of the Baltic coastline.
Throughout the journey, you'll have an audio guide in English that you can download to your phone. As well as that, the boat has a bar service on board where you can get drinks and snacks.
After 1 hour and 15 minutes cruising around Tallin Bay, the boat will dock at the starting point.
