Carmel Market Food Tour

We'll start our tour at the Abulafia Bakery, near to the Carmel Market, at 12:30 pm. From here we'll enter the market and walk along the Kerem HaTemanim alleyways and streets where you'll brush shoulders with the locals and gain a first-hand experience of the city's thriving culinary scene

The Carmel Market is a melting pot of the city's culture's and traditions, and while you are taken away by the delicious aromas and exotic produce, our guide will provide us with their expert knowledge about the way different immigrant communities and cultures have come together to create the diverse culinary culture that can be seen today.

As we continue walking around the market, we'll learn more about the Israeli food culture and the new generation of chefs who have perfected their craft on these stalls. Plus, you'll try fresh, exotic Ghat and etrog juice, Zaatar with Lahuh (a Middle Eastern blend of herbs with a soft fermented bread), Garinim (a popular Israeli snack of a mix of roasted seeds), Halva (a sweet confection made from sesame seeds) and Dolmas (rice wrapped in vine leaves).

There's no better way to explore the Tel Aviv's culinary scene and discover its incredible spices, exotic fruits and delicious delicacies than on this two-hour tour of the Carmel Market!
