Rio Grande Kayak or Canoe Tour
Kayak or Canoe Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at 53570 HWY 118 in Terlingua and, once we're all gathered, we'll begin an unforgettable aquatic experience in the Rio Grande. Ready? Let's go!
Depending on the water level, we'll enjoy the tour by kayak or canoe. We'll provide the basics and safety measures to carry out the activity. Afterward, we'll hop on the boats and start paddling along the legendary Rio Grande, which crosses the Big Bend National Park.
During the tour, you'll take in the stunning views of the Texas nature as we experience an adrenaline-fueled adventure or relax as the force of the water takes us. You know that the river will set the pace for the activity!
Midway, we'll head to the shore to stop for 1 hour so you can revitalize with food that you have brought on the tour. After eating, we'll return to the water and continue exploring the canyons of the Rio Grande.
Finally, we'll return to the starting point and conclude the tour after 6 hours and 45 minutes and 7 hours and 15 minutes. It'll be a day filled with excitement!
What Boat Will We Use?
As we indicated previously, the experience in the Rio Grande will depend on the water level, and the tour can be carried out by kayak or canoe.
The canoes can hold up to two people, and one child can be in the central part. The kayak can hold up to one or two people.
Regardless of the boat we'll use, you'll spend an unforgettable day paddling along the waters of the Rio Grande.
