Vallejo Ham Museum Tour
Vallejo Ham Museum Tour
When booking, you can choose between two different ways to visit the Museo de Jamones Vallejo. Both have an approximate duration of between 30 minutes and one hour:
Vallejo Ham Museum Admission
Would you like to visit the museum at your own pace? This entrance ticket with audio guide will allow you to visit the exhibition and the ham-drying facility at your own pace. Through different interactive panels, you'll discover the artisan process of making the famous Vallejo hams, a family tradition started by Manuel Vallejo Prados in 1951.
And as you can't live by theory alone, with this ticket you'll also enjoy a tapa of the brand's famous gourmet ham and a glass of organic wine from Sierra Nevada.
Vallejo Ham Museum Guided Tour
If you choose this option, you'll be accompanied by a master ham maker during your visit. You'll learn many interesting facts about one of the star products of Spanish gastronomy: do you know the difference between acorn-fed and free-range ham, or how long the pieces must be in the drying room? We'll find out!
After delving into the tradition of Trevélez ham, you can enjoy your tapa and glass of wine included in the visit.
