Private Tour of Ulaanbaatar
Private Tour of Ulaanbaatar
When booking this private tour of Ulaanbaatar, you can choose between the following options. Both include pickup and drop-off at your hotel, minibus transportation, and an English-speaking guide.
Below, you'll find the itineraries of each option:
4-hour Tour
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to begin our tour of the capital of Mongolia. Our first stop will be at Gandantegchinlin Monastery. Did you know that this Tibetan Buddhist temple is one of the most important of its kind outside Tibet?
After learning the secrets of this sanctuary, we'll visit Sükhbaatar Square. This central point of the city is where an equestrian statue of Damdin Süjbaatar is located. We'll tell you all about who he is and why he's so important!
We'll also pass by the Government Palace to see its colonnade and its 9 state flags. Then, we'll leave you free time to have lunch in a local restaurant.
Following lunch, we'll drop you back off at your hotel to finish this private tour.
6-hour Tour
In this option, we'll follow the same itinerary as the 4-hour tour, but after lunch, we'll visit the National Museum of Mongolia. Here, we'll learn lots of interesting facts about Mongolian history from prehistoric times to the 20th century.
Then, we'll see the Zaisan Memorial, a monument south of the capital that honors the fallen Soviet soldiers of World War II. We'll also enjoy panoramic views of Ulaanbaatar from Zaisan Hill!
Finally, we'll finish the private tour by dropping you off at your hotel.
