Stanley Park Free Tour
Tour Details
Meet us at the Stanley Park bus loop at the appointed time, from where we'll begin this free tour full of nature, culture, and history. Ready to explore one of Vancouver's most iconic parks? Let's get started!
During the tour, we'll stroll along Stanley Park's famous waterfront, where you can't miss a glimpse of the iconic Seawall, the wall that surrounds the park and offers unparalleled views of the ocean and the mountains of northern Canada.
We'll also visit Brockton Point, to see the iconic totem poles that tell the rich story of the area's indigenous heritage. Here we'll talk about the legends that have shaped this place, including stories about the totem poles and traditions that have endured for centuries.
From here, we'll walk among the towering cedar and fir trees of the temperate rainforest, and admire how this natural area has been preserved over the years, in balance with the history of the city. As we walk, we'll learn about the endemic flora and fauna, such as the species that inhabit Beaver Lake, a hidden body of water in the heart of Stanley Park.
Finally, we'll end this 3-hour free tour, having met the green soul of Vancouver.
