Varadero Bike Tour
Activity Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the calle 18 con la avenida 5ta. After handing out the bikes, we'll set off on a route that will take us to discover the best of downtown Varadero. Let's get going!
We'll start by visiting a Bodega de Abastecimiento in downtown Varadero, where we'll learn about the distribution process for rationed food in Cuba. The next stop will be at the Parador Fotográfico to take the best snapshots, and then we'll continue on to Varadero's iconic Bar Floridita.
Our next stop? We'll cycle through Josone Park and give you time to visit an art gallery where you can buy souvenirs. Later, we'll visit the Casa del Ron de Varadero to learn about the different types of Cuban rum and the Casa del Tabaco to learn about the process of making the famous Havana cigars.
Next, we'll head to the Torreón del Quijote, a small fortification located on top of a hill, where you'll enjoy panoramic views perfect for taking photos. Then, we'll tour the grounds of the Varadero golf course, a space surrounded by tropical vegetation and sea views. The walk will take us to Plaza Las Américas, a lively shopping and leisure centre where you'll experience the city's most modern atmosphere.
Finally, we'll return to the meeting point and say our goodbyes after a 3-hour activity.
