L'excursion était excellente. La visite de la fabrique de sucre et de rhum était formidable. La dégustation du rhum était très appréciable et une bonne découverte. La maison du rhum avec la dégustation d'une dizaine de rhum est à faire avec modération sauf que modération était resté à l'hôtel (lol) Enfin l'atelier était éducatif avec la dégustation d'un vrai café cubain et d'un shot de rhum L'excursion était très éducatif sur le thème de la canne à sucre Translate this opinion into English.

J’ai beaucoup aimé les visites et les différentes dégustations. Aussi bien la visite du musée du sucre que de la distillerie étaient passionnantes et les différents intervenants avaient vraiment le sens du partage et de la pédagogie. Le guide est parfait L’excursion très interessante Mais malgré votre descriptif nous n’avons pas pu faire notre cigare et c’est dommage car nous avons pris cette excursion chez bien que plus cher car il y avait ça de proposé Du coup il vaut mieux la réserver sur place beaucoup moins cher

There is a lot of novel information, sights and experiences in this trip as well as the complimentary bottle of rum. The guide was fantastic with the amount of information she shared - I think she was called Navi? She allowed and encouraged questions about anything Cuban. The tour was spoilt by an insanely drunk Canadian couple in an appalling state at 8am. The guide said in 20 years she hadn’t experienced it and was guided by the office for what to do. They should have been sent home!

Excellent day trip, not fair to travel too. Our guide Taylor did a great job informing us about the places we visited. I was amazed how interactive the day was. I especially liked the Sugar train ride and Cigar shop. All the other local guides were great too. Worth every penny and more. Highly recommended.

Communication was awful. I asked if I could add a friend and they never responded. In addition the guard at the hotel gate would not let my taxi in. Skip this trip as well as using Civitatis to book. There are plenty of places to book on 1st Ave in Varadero!!!
