Murano & Burano Day Trip + Glass-Blowing Show
Day Trip Options
During the booking process, you can choose between two options. Both start and end on the Calle de la Rasse and include an English-speaking guide.
Murano & Burano Day Trip (4.5 Hours)
At the scheduled time, we'll meet in front of the Palazzo Cornoldi to begin this trip by hopping on a water taxi, which will take us to Murano, one of the most famous islands in the Venetian lagoon. During the journey, you'll be fascinated by the impressive views of the water, islands and elegant palaces.
Once we've arrived at our destination, we'll make our way to the authentic Murano glass-blowing show to attend a glass-blowing demonstration performed by a local craftsman. Can you think of a more traditional experience than this? You'll be left stunned.
Once the demonstration has ended, we'll explore the maze-like streets of Murano while we discover the fascinating history of the town and its most popular trade. We'll stroll along some charming streets!
Next, we’ll head to the island of Burano, a fascinating and colorful place that’s perfect for photos. Here, we’ll attend a traditional lace-making demonstration, an authentic craft of the area. After a total of 4.5 hours of experience, we’ll return to Venice to say our goodbyes.
Murano, Burano, & Torcello Day Trip (5.5 Hours)
With this option, we’ll follow the same itinerary described above, but you’ll have more time to enjoy Burano. In addition, after visiting this island, we’ll head to the neighboring island of Torcello.
It’s considered the older sister of the Venetian Lagoon, as during its golden age it was more populated than Venice itself. Its most treasured landmark is the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, famous for its Byzantine mosaics. We’ll also visit the iconic Devil’s Bridge, a railing-free walkway surrounded by legends. The perfect island to complete the experience!
