Budapest & Bratislava Day Trip
Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Gerhard-Bronner-Straße, number 15, and from there, we'll start our day trip. Are you ready to tick off two important European capitals from your bucket list in just one day?
After a journey of approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes, we'll reach Budapest, also called the Pearl of the Danube. Depending on the option you choose during the booking process, we'll embark on a guided tour of the Pest area.
For 1.5 hours, you can take pictures of the Széchenyi Chain Bridge, which has the best views of the Buda Hills. Afterward, we'll pay homage to the Shoes on the Danube Bank monument on the river shore and admire the massive Hungarian Parliament Building, one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. Plus, we'll walk by the Liberty Square until we reach the stunning St. Stephen's Basilica and the famous Ferris wheel.
After the tour, you'll have 2 hours of free time so you can try the traditional goulash or shop in the commercial avenues. Then, we'll regroup to continue our trip toward the capital of Slovakia.
Once in Bratislava, we'll go on a 1-hour tour of its charming old town. We'll see the iconic Michael's Gate, the only gate that is still preserved from the medieval fortress. We'll visit the Hlavné námestie, the city's main square, and the elegant Slovak National Theater and walk past St Martin's Cathedral, the coronation site of the former Hungarian kings.
Afterward, you'll have 1 hour of free time to stroll around the streets and search for the famous bronze statues in the city before leaving.
Finally, once we're back at the starting point in Vienna, we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 14 hours.
